Trustees & Governance

75% of the Trustees must be Deaf parents (including foster/adoptor) or Deaf parents to be. At the moment, 100% of our Trustees are Deaf parents themselves with children of all ages which brings a rich diversity of experiences to Deaf Parenting UK.

Trustees meet 4 times a year as well as keeping in touch via DPUK Trustee email group. We have reviewed and updated the DPUK’s constitution,  Risk of Harm/ Safeguarding children policy and Equality & Diversity policy to reflect the current climate.
