NAFIS have a network of local Family Information Services across UK, providing information and advices to parents and families on childcare, early years and children activities. Pat is looking forward to meet all Deaf parents and professionals at the conference, wanting to know their views/ feedback on how Family Information Services can meet Deaf parents’ needs in their local areas.”
We are looking for Deaf parents to share their experiences including the following:
• Should your child be seen as `child in need’ and qualify for free nursery place?
• Do you have access to your children’s education?
• How well is your access to health services for your health throughout pregnancy, birth and your children’s health?
• Are you happy or have any concerns regarding your child’s health/ well-being/ development?
• Is your local social service providing support to you as Deaf parents and accessible to meet your needs?
