Letter from Wendy Roberts, Feature Writer of Derby Telegraph:

Hello,

My name is Wendy Roberts. I write features for the Derby Telegraph.

I am keen in finding interesting families from Derby who would be interested in appearing in the paper.
It is my biggest wish to interview a family, with either hearing parents and deaf children – or vice versa, hearing children with deaf parents.

I can only imagine that there are many families in this area who fit this bill -but I’d really like to find you!
It would be so interesting for our readers to find out more about how you run your life and cope with everyday things!

If you are interested, please get in touch. I’d come to see you and do a little interview. Then we’d arrange for a photographer to come and take a couple of family pictures!

I can be contacted on email: wroberts@derbytelegraph.co.uk
I work in the office on a Wednesday and Thursday, 8-4pm. My number here is 01332 29111 ext 5653.

Best wishes and thanks for your support.

Wendy Roberts
